Located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Aberdeen Ridge is a senior living community with a picturesque mountain view. This expansive structure comprised of concrete, both mild and post tensioned, masonry, steel, and wood building materials, houses 171 independent living apartments, 40 assisted living apartments, 24 memory care apartments, underground parking, an indoor pool, fitness space, bistro, and various other commons spaces. To keep on schedule and on budget, sourcing the most cost effective and readily available building materials was key. This effort required the design team to coordinate with the construction team and stay closely involved well into the construction process, a key factor in the project's overall success.
